About Us

I’ve always been a visionary, but it was never enough to just IMAGINE a well-designed room or a refinished piece of furniture.  I had to put my hands on it.  Feel it.  Change it.  I have always wanted that picture-perfect, magazine-image home.  However, as a military family, our Navy-issued surroundings and budget didn’t always offer me that complete look.  

So, if I couldn’t buy it, I would DIY my way to the next closest thing. It wasn’t long before I discovered how much I love to paint.  Painting is an instant uplift and immediate gratification.  But for me, it’s so much more.  A paint brush in my hand is like therapy, an opportunity to recreate my home’s atmosphere.  I started with my grandmother’s dining room suite.  Bless my sweet family for giving it to me, but it was UGLY. And as it turned out, that dining room suite changed my life forever.  After lugging it around the country and storing it in random cities, I painted it when we bought our first house with a formal dining room, and I have not put a brush down since. I have read blog after blog, tried and practiced a million tutorials, and taken countless classes from educators, and I just can’t get enough!  I absolutely love painting and helping others to achieve their dream designs without breaking the bank. We are a small, local, family-owned business. I am so blessed to be able to do this and still be the Mom that my family needs.  It’s so much more than just a job.  It’s my passion.
